Jon’s journey in carpentry began in 1992 with a simple passion for building things the right way. He went on to complete the Wood Technics two-year carpentry program in Rice Lake, graduating with honors in 1994.

 

After gaining hands-on experience in commercial construction for two years, Jon realized his true calling was in residential carpentry — working directly with homeowners and creating spaces that feel personal, functional, and beautifully crafted.

 

Following many successful years in the industry, Jon took the leap and founded Jon’s Custom Carpentry LLC in 2014, turning a longtime dream into reality.

 

For Jon, carpentry has never been “just a job.” It’s a craft and a passion. He is committed to continuous learning, regularly researching new techniques, refining his skills, and staying up to date with the highest standards in the trade. His goal is simple: deliver custom work that is unique, precise, and built to last.
